These two beauties married at Hilary’s brother’s Hood River, OR private property. The iconic Gorge views and sunset hues were the inspiration for the design. Wildflowers organically sprinkled throughout, added just the right amount of color and textures. Hilary and Keith had our hearts as soon as they explained their vision of a “elevated field party – complete with a band” ummm yes please. Day of a lil rain..maybe a lot of rain graced us. But with a little patience, a lot of pre planning, and luck a break in the weather brought us double rainbows, the most beautiful ceremony and mystical vibes. Get cozy and relive the day with us below. 👇
It’s the boots for me!Keith waiting out the rain and preparing for their first look! In the cutest lil mini house.
Hilary is the most naturally beautiful bride !
Guests arrived in style in the Vintage Tour Bus Co.
Guests were welcomed with aperol sprit & charcuterie !
As guests finished their drinks and snacks and the rain stopped just in time, they made their way up the hill to the beautiful ceremony spot!
Love this snap of the Father of the Bride with his spritz and the Groom making their way up to the ceremony site.
I am always the first to jump on the floral bandwagon. BUT wow this floral free backdrop is absolutely breathtaking amongst the view and greenery. We used heavy duty fishing line to tie this into place. Hood River has some crazy winds.
As guests made their way up the hill to the ceremony location. Hilary waited it out in her Grandfather’s antique hunting tent.
Bench seating was provided for about half the guests while the others had some standing room in the back. It is not always necessary to have seating for everyone – especially if you are working with a smaller budget or having a short ceremony – think 20 minutes or less.
Are you kidding me! This is what magic is.Guests making their way back down to the dinner tent !Pro Tip: If you are creating your own signage, utilize Canva to design, print out your poster size design 24″ by 36″ on poster paper and spray adhesive it to a sturdy wood piece! Ta Da
The Polaroid Guestbook will never get old!Pro Tip: Always over communicate with your guests, especially at private property events. These detail cards were the perfect touch.
Rooted in the Gorge did a great job in the POURING RAIN creating this stunning PNW inspired buffet. Pro tip: Always think about how the food and drink tells your story.
Dress change on point and the BOOTS are back in view.
You had me at cookies and chips – instead of cake!
Hilary and Keith went with our Full Coordination service. We highly recommend bringing on a planning team when you are celebrating at a private property. You want to actually enjoy your day instead of stressing over the little things – like how to attach a flowing fabric backdrop in the wind. But we may just be bias. Send us a note so we can see how we can best assist you. xoxo
Thank you to their incredible vendor team !
