"This was my aha moment and when I knew I needed to plan weddings! Torn between different looks and locations, we opted for two celebrations: a morning ceremony with "elevenses" (an ode to our British heritage) and an ocean front pub reception for dinner. Upon reception arrival, guests were treated to a beer tasting, sangria on the table and hand-drawn bohemian donkey (inside joke) temporary tattoos. Dinner was a collection of our fav foods—scallops, fish and chips and burgers. I am a strong supporter of forgetting what you think a wedding should look like and creating one that looks like you.
